It all began with an idea and a stay at home order.
We always talked about opening our own bike shop, but we could never figure out how to start. We had all the tools and with our new found free time, we fired a shot in the dark. Actually, we fired a post on Facebook and the response was amazing!
We live in Francis, Utah, a small town that is apart of the greater Kamas Valley, between the Uintah and Wasatch mountains. Our community is small and like everyone else who owns a business in town, we too work out of our home. We spent last summer servicing bikes out of garage, to which not one customer cared about. What they cared about was finally getting a bike shop in the area. With the amount of business and the feedback we received, we decided to make this dream a reality, and officially started HIGH MOUNTAIN CYCLES.
In our ever changing world, we decided to be a different kind of bike shop— One that cares about your personal decision in how you handle your health. We offer a concierge service for your bikes. We can go to you for pick-up and delivery, freeing you from no longer having to go to the store and allowing you to determine your level of exposure. And if you want to come to us, that’s okay too!
